Supervisor Janice S. Parvin to Host 9/11 Memorial Blood Drive in Moorpark
Moorpark, CA – In commemoration of the lives lost and forever changed on September 11, 2001, Ventura County Supervisor Janice S. Parvin will host a 9/11 Memorial Blood Drive on Wednesday, September 11, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Arroyo Vista Community Park, located at 4550 Tierra Rejada Road, Moorpark.
This special event, held in partnership with the American Red Cross, invites the community to come together and give the gift of life in honor of the heroes and victims of 9/11. With the theme “Turn Remembrance into Action,” the blood drive is a meaningful way to pay tribute through service and compassion.
Appointments can be made at RedCrossBlood.org using the sponsor code: VCPARVIN. Walk-ins are also welcome, but appointments are strongly encouraged to ensure a smooth and timely experience.
“We remember the courage, unity, and selflessness that emerged in the wake of tragedy,” said Supervisor Parvin. “This blood drive is a way for our community to come together and make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.”
