Temporary Food Facility Training Comes to Simi Valley

Simi Valley, CA — January 24, 2025 — Supervisor Janice S. Parvin, in collaboration with Ventura County Environmental Health, is excited to announce a Temporary Food Facility (TFF) Training for food vendors, nonprofits, community event organizers, and street fair vendors in Simi Valley and Moorpark. This convenient, local training session eliminates the need to travel to Ventura for TFF certification, making it easier than ever to participate in food-related events.

The event will take place on Monday, February 10, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce, located at 40 W. Cochran St., Suite 100, Simi Valley, CA.

Temporary Food Facility permits are a critical requirement for anyone preparing and selling food at community events, fairs, or fundraisers. This training is designed to simplify the process for food vendors, nonprofits selling food, community event organizers, and street fair vendors selling food products.

“We are thrilled to bring this training closer to home for Simi Valley and Moorpark residents,” said Supervisor Janice S. Parvin. “This session not only saves time but also empowers our community members to meet the necessary requirements for their food-based businesses or events.”

Space is limited, so early registration is strongly encouraged. Visit https://tinyurl.com/yxcceptw to secure a spot.

This training is provided by Ventura County Environmental Health to ensure food safety and compliance with the county regulations. For more information, please contact Supervisor Janice S. Parvin’s office at 805-955-2300.
